I’ve been doing crafty projects, art pieces and sewing projects since I was little. I started sewing when I got my first Singer in sixth grade (which I still have and works wonderfully!). Most of my art is animal related (check out my etsy shop at birchwoodcat.etsy.com). However, aside from the gourd projects and custom animal paintings, I do love DIY projects…and have finally jumped into blogging so I can share some of these ideas as well as some of the process of the art as it develops.
